First, the updates for v0.1.6
Made some more improvements that make the AI act more reliably and efficiently in bigger projects. Now we automatically generate a map of the project files, which is also included in the context. In case the map is too big, it is replaced with a map of folders, which should also provide good hints on where to locate things.
One other improvement was to allow the AI to change files using diffs instead of saving the whole content, which will help save tokens!
I’ve now “packaged” it for the first time and sent the files to all who requested access. Looking forward to hear feedback and how the experiments go!

My knowledge of building mobile apps is pretty close to zero. So I thought this would be a perfect test for Workspaice! It is also a frequently mentioned/requested “benchmark” for code-generation AI models.
So here’s the most recent demo: building an Android app from scratch! Although the video is 37 minutes long, there are a lot of dead moments and me figuring things out. For someone experienced or who had done this before, this app could have been built in less than 10 minutes. The final cost was 2.50 USD. As always, I provide useful timestamps so you can skip ahead the boring parts 😉
